Black authors.Black stories. Black af.
Black Girls Who Write (BGWW) was a tweet that cultivated a community to gather black women authors and provide a safe space of our own in the book world - a world where bad - ass indie authors are not recognized. However, it’s okay because now we have our own underground community where we continue to thrive!

Written to be Heard
AUDIOBOOK GRANT
Black Girls Who Write has partnered with Spotify for Authors for the Written to be Heard Audiobook Grant for Black writers. This grant is sponsored by Spotify for Authors, and TYDEF Studios will produce the audiobook. This grant is to amplify self-published Black voices in literature. In addition, Black Girls Who Write’s marketing agency, The LIT Suite, will help with marketing strategy and cover design for the winning author.
You deserve to be in the room, but your application and profile have to prove it.
In this masterclass, you'll learn how to use the STAR Method to turn your experience into compelling stories that help you stand out for speaking engagements, brand partnerships, publishing opportunities, and more.
We'll cover how to increase your visibility online and in person, position yourself as the obvious choice, and answer application questions with confidence and impact.
Stop underselling yourself! It's time to put some respect on your name.
